Steve and his team were professional and courteous every step of the way! Their work is impeccable and they are very thorough on the prep work to ensure the finished product looks pristine. We have recommended Lockwood Finishes to several people and they have all been pleased with the quality of their work. The area of their work that was most appreciated was their customer service! We have dealt with some shady contractors in the past, and it’s just so nice to have someone in your home that provides a very reasonable price, outstanding work, and a friendly/positive attitude! You won’t regret hiring them!

Steve Lockwood and his crew are top-notch painters and just good people. I think there are few companies where the owner is on the job, doing the work and supporting the crew, and that was Steve. We are thrilled with the exterior paint job they did on our home, which was no easy task. They repaired and painted multiple surfaces including brick, wood and aluminum and used different colors for the body, trim and shutters, all using only ladders. They truly went above and beyond! I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Steve and his crew did an outstanding job of painting my kitchen island cabinets, exterior doors and wallpapering. There was a delay (delays happen these days) in scheduling a start date however, Steve’s crew started on the day that was scheduled and was completed on time which outweighs any delays that may occur. The work was very high quality and reasonably priced. Thank you Steve! I love the finished product. I would highly recommend Lockwood Finishes.

Steve Lockwood and his crew are the very best that Springfield has to offer. We shopped around and got a few estimates as the job was on the larger side. His time frame estimate was spot on and the price quoted was very reasonable. Their attention to detail was meticulous. Their willingness to work with us and go above and beyond puts Steve and his crew in a category all by themselves. The crew showed up everyday on time, gave 110% everyday, and were extremely polite and professional. We couldn’t be more pleased with the incredible quality of work that Steve and his crew gave. We will definitely be using them again for every job, large and small, in the future. We can’t recommend them enough.

We would highly recommend Lockwood Finishes! Steve and Brent did a fantastic job repairing our drywall, painting the walls, and replacing the trim. They built a riser for theater seats. Steve then painted a stairwell for us and it looks perfect! They are very professional, trustworthy, talented, and friendly. We are very happy we used this company and will definitely use them again. 5 stars!

We could not be more satisfied with Lockwood Finishes. Our master bedroom and bathroom look beautiful. Lockwood Finishes also provides drywall repairs. After repairing the cracks and holes in the drywall, our freshly painted walls and ceiling look flawless. Steve and Jim were very professional, knowledgeable and committed to providing a final product of the highest quality. Our house is 100 years old and had a failing plaster ceiling that was being held up by decorative beams. Lockwood finishes worked with me where I handled the demolition and cleaned off the wood pieces and they hung and finished drywall to look like plaster and rehung the beams. I literally saved 10s of thousands of dollars versus another contractor handling the entire project and the outcome is better than we could have ever anticipated.

After seeing the work that Steve and his crew at Lockwood Finishes did at my daughter and son-in-law's home there was no doubt who we were going to use to paint the interior of our home. We contacted Steve and he was quick to come look at the project and e-mailed me a written estimate me the following day. Once we had approved the bid and scheduled the work Steve and his crew showed up and prepped the floors and walls. Drywall repair and wall sanding was meticulously done. Two coats of Sherwin Williams Duration wall paint were applied with another sanding in between coats. My wife and I could not be happier with the results. Not only does the painting look great but we truly enjoyed meeting and working with Steve and his employees. They are honest, trustworthy and very friendly. We recommended Lockwood Finishes to several of our neighbors and friends and they have been just as impressed and pleased as we were. If you are looking for an honest and professional contractor who will do a 5-star job then contact Steve at Lockwood Finishes. You will be happy that you did!

Steve and his crew were Amazing! From the very moment I spoke with Steve on the phone I knew God had led us to the right person we could trust and not feel uncomfortable with leaving in our home. We have an old family farm house that needed a lot of patching and painting and it looks beautiful! We had 9 rooms, a long hallway and two stairway landings to be repaired and painted. They were very prompt and professional in every way. The job was completed in about two weeks. Steve was always available at any time we needed to get in touch with him about anything and always kept us updated at all times. An all around good guy in every way and cares about his customers. The Lockwood crew was efficient, on time and quickly accomplished an excellent repair of our ceilings and walls. They were courteous and respectful of ourselves and our home. The inspection and bid process was thorough and all questions were answered, even pointing out damage our insurance adjuster had not noticed. They were on task immediately upon arrival and made quick work of our water stained sheetrock. High quality materials were used for an excellent end-product. They went out of their way to do a new bath ceiling fan install along with all of the plaster and paint work. All of the work area was well tarped and clean up was fantastic. We were extremely pleased with the whole job and recommend them highly to anyone needing paint and plaster work!
